![]() Guess I have to start a new game with "Tons of Guns". Here, I play through the gold pack edition, which was released by Strategy. Then the mode changes between iron sights and eye-symbol. Longplay of Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business, a tactical role-playing game released in 2001 by Sir-Tech Canada. Allow manual toggle between a gun's different scopes/sights (toggle via '.' in tactical) I now checked I have in Data-1.13/Ja2_Options.ini: Is it so that this can be changed only by starting a new game? It is a bit strange if this affects using scope on guns with built-in scope. ![]() It seemed to me having it on did not give me more guns, just more different kinds of guns which made more hassle with finding correct ammunition for every gun. I played without "Tons of Guns" already in Vanilla JA2. While standing you should always be able to switch between one scope mode and firing from hip. in order to use the key to toggle scope modes the item needs to have more than one mode and USE_SCOPE_MODES has to be TRUE in Ja2_Options.ini. It will show in the attachments but it cannot be reattached once removed.ītw. The 10x scope on that gun cannot be used. I never play with reduced item set so I only remember that one Dragunov with a 10x scope in some desert sector. What they can come with is default attachments. Almost all guns do not have build-in scopes. They just sit there waiting to be found no matter if they are useful afterwards or not. Pre-placed scopes on the map are not affected by "Tons of Guns". That must be the reason why most of your guns do not show the attachment slot for scopes. To me it looks like you are playing with reduced item set and not "Tons of Guns". Arulco is free at last, but your jobs not over. ![]() I am having great difficulties in battle since enemy is not seen until they are so close they can see my soldiers. Summary: The bullets have stopped flying. Plus it seems silly to have a squad consisting of only snipers. I could give M24 rifles to all mercenaries, but then automatic rifles and machine guns get very limited use. I have 16 scopes with 10x, one 7x and one 2x. I have lots of 10x scopes, I have given them to mercenaries to use as telescope since I have found only three pairs of binoculars. I have found scopes, 2x scope, 7x scope but the rifles do not have a slot for scope. The Bobby Ray description of Dragunov says it has scope (and night sight). Also sight range is not changed and tunnel vision not shown, so it seems the scope is not used. It does not seem like the guns get the bonuses for scope, since scoring hits with Dragunov SVD is much harder than with M24. I have not installed any additional mods, just v1.13. The player is put in control of several hired mercenaries and with aid of local citizens and militia must reclaim Arulco's cities and ultimately defeat Deidranna. The game uses a strategic map screen of Arulco where player may issue high level strategic orders for their troops, such as travelling or prolonged training.Re: Change between scope and iron sights? Jagged Alliance 2 and the Unfinished Business expansion were combined in the Jagged Alliance 2 Gold Pack, released on August 6, 2002.The game takes place in the fictional country of Arulco, which has been ruled by a ruthless monarch Deidranna for several years. Two commercial releases of the mod Wildfire (2004) are also available as official expansion packs. It is the third game in the Jagged Alliance series, and was followed by the expansion Unfinished Business in 2000.
